From career milestones to new music releases and major announcements, and more, Billboard editors highlight the latest news buzz in Latin music every week.

Here’s what happened in the Latin music world this week.

Natti Natasha reached 2 billion views on YouTube

Natti Natasha announced to her fans on social media that she has officially surpassed two billion views on YouTube with her 2017 hit “Criminal” in collaboration with Ozuna. The sensual reggaeton, which was produced by Haze and written by Jhay Cortez, Natti Natasha and Ozuna, marked an emblematic moment in Natti’s music career.

“I feel that that song was my second chance,” she previously told Billboard. “Before that, I had so many great songs that never got released because I didn’t have the help and support and I’m very grateful that he said yes and believed in me, my song, and my team, Pina Records. To me, it’s such a special song because I had the opportunity to write my part of the lyrics and I just really loved it.”

As she celebrates her new milestone, the Dominican artist is making the rounds with her new single, “Despacio,” in collaboration with Nicky Jam, Manuel Turizo, and Myke Towers.
